The numbers a lender or investor asks for. Without becoming an accountant.

Answer plain questions about your business, and the model builds itself. You get an income statement, a balance sheet and a cash flow statement that move together, plus a Management Discussion written from the numbers.

The model

Three statements, one model

The income statement says what you earned. The balance sheet says what you own and owe on one day. The cash flow statement says where the money went.

They are linked, and that is the point. Profit flows into equity. The cash at the bottom of the cash flow statement is the cash on the balance sheet. Change one assumption and all three pages move together, or the model is wrong.

Who asks for it: a lender checking you can make the payments, an investor pricing the company, you, testing a plan before you spend a year on it.

Income statement

  • Cost of revenue
  • Operating expenses
  • Interest and tax
  • Net income

Balance sheet

  • What else you own
  • What you owe
  • Equity
  • Check-

Cash flow

  • From operations
  • From investing
  • From financing
  • Change in cash
  • Cash at the end

What is different here

Three things, and they are the hard three

A balance sheet that ties

Plenty of planning tools stop at profit and cash. This one carries every balance forward month by month: receivables, payables, inventory, deferred revenue, debt, equity.

A check row sits at the bottom and reads a dash in every column while assets equal liabilities plus equity. If it ever reads anything else, the model is telling you something is wrong.

A written Management Discussion

The written half of a plan is usually typed by hand and out of date the moment an assumption changes. Here the figures in it are live.

Change a price or a hire date and the sentences change with the pages. You add your own words where they belong, and the numbers stay right.

The lender's view

Debt service coverage, the lowest cash balance in each year and the month it happens, and the funding the plan needs to keep cash at or above zero.

The Sources and Uses page puts that on one sheet: where the money comes from, and where it goes.

We reviewed 28 products on 6 September 2026. Three of them sell a model with a real balance sheet at a price a founder can pay without a sales call. Several write prose, and every one of those calls it a business plan or an investor update, never a management discussion.

How it works

Three steps

Answer questions about your business

Start from a shape close to yours, or from a blank plan. Revenue, people, expenses, equipment, loans and raises are blocks you add and edit in plain fields. You never write a formula.

See the pages

Every page redraws as you type: Financial Summary, Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Sources and Uses, and the Management Discussion.

Export or share

Print the whole pack in one job, or download an Excel workbook with a monthly sheet behind the statements. Exports come with a paid plan. A plan can always be saved as a JSON file.

Work through it

Start with the question you came with

Each one explains the thing in plain words, does the arithmetic on your numbers, and hands the answer to the app. All of them on one page.
